By the look, and sound, of things, I think that our beloved Messi is well on the mend after his fang extraction. Probably wise, not letting him eat solids for a while. I have no doubt that animals can get dry socket too, if they eat the wrong foods and the blood clot gets taken out by the food. At most, I would have given him his favorite dairy products as snacks for a while, then regular food when the vet gives the ok, but still, Sasha and Masha know what is best for the beloved redheaded furball. He was quite talkative there, towards the end of the first 1/3 of this video, plus he was up and about alot. Two VERY good signs. While I have never owned a cougar, I have owned MORE than my share of the small, domesticated cats, and enough dogs to where this video really made me feel like Messi is doing fantastic after his procedure. Sasha and Masha really do take good care of Messi and Gerda. Those felines are so,lucky to be in the environment they are in, especially Messi, with his history since birth. Sasha and Masha are the best things that ever happened to Messi and he knows it. I have ZERO doubts that Messi knew how close he was to death, and that the zoo was going to put him to sleep. The fact that Sasha and Masha stepped in and Essentially said, "The hell you are, not on our watch!!!", adopted him, and got him into CONSIDERABLY better health and a safe, happy environment where he knows how loved he is, it's no wonder he is so devoted to the two of them. Every video I see of Messi warms my heart, knowing his history, and seeing where he came from and where he is now. As I always say, I firmly believe there is a special, elite, VIP place in heaven reserved for Sasha and Masha. I would put money down on that.

Ура! Месси хочет кушать! Это замечательно. Силы прибавится для восстановления .Сам попросил. Значит аппетит восстанавливается. Меня умилило, что Месси пошел смотреть в окно : наверное соскучился по Герде. Даже в темноте смотрел на ее вольер. Все помнит, наркоз прошел. Спасибо, Саше и Маше, что показали нам Месси . Вы сами , конечно, очень устали и волновались. Теперь новый этап . Хорошего настроения и хороших новостей. Врачам из Госпиталя огромная благодарность за профессионализм и вообще за то, что занимаются таким благородным делом: лечением животных.

When I clicked on the video of his procedure my heart fell to the ground. I didn't know what happened at first and I prayed for him. I know what it feels like when they get hurt or fall ill. I have been watching your videos and have fallen in love with both of your fur babies and will continue to pray for them. I'm so glad that he is okay. I rescue little cats, those who were ill and going to be put down, so I can heal them and give them a quality life until its their time to go.
