I wouldn't go that far. Im sure big cat experts, veterinarians, etc.. probably could. But yes, these two provide a level of love to messi that goes beyond just caring for it. There are plenty of loving owners of dogs and cats that treat their babies the same

Yes, and note, that Messi wouldn't have any chance to survive in worse conditions, not to mention wild nature. He was born in a zoo and was weak and sickly. So there,s no reason to discuss is it correct to keep him at home or not. It's his lucky ticket.

However, makes me sad that children in many difficult situations around the world can't have access as many toys as pretty Messy does. That is the crazy world we live in. It is great this Russian couple rescued him and take care of him as they do. He is rotten spoiled, very sweet personality, such an adorable puma. 🐾❤️

Masha (nickname for Maria) is 'his wife'. Sasha is short for Alexander. She isn't just his wife (as all of the women here can tell you)--but Messi's Mum. She's learning English and tries to read a few sentences on the live Feeds on Sundays.

@Benji H.: There IS no other cat 'like him'. They raised him from a baby, fixed his multiple medical issues while teaching him to be 'human in a cat suit'. He has no idea they're not his real parents which is why he loves them so much...not only Sasha (you see him most because Masha is mostly behind the camera), but in those rare times we get to see Messi's interactions with her, he's very bonded with her as well. She's his Mum and I've seen him eat raw meat from the palm of her hand with her crouched beside him! One couldn't imagine that anywhere else, yet they take it for granted because he's so good. He was in severe pain with fractures of his paws which took a TON of medical work and specialist big cat vet bills, expenses the average person wouldn't be able to manage. It takes dedicating your life to doing this--to save a big cat's life and to train him to be safe around humans. Still, he wasn't treated well by young children and remembers it, so Sasha makes sure to allow him only interactions with older children. This is not remotely 'easy', although we only get to see the 'fun' part. I loved this video since it showed us the real, lighthearted side of their and his playful sides at home...his peeking out to see where Daddy was, melted my heart. No one should imagine that they could do this as easily, though. Messi is unique: one of a kind, and exactly where he should be. I adore this family since they are very intelligent about everything they do for him and themselves.So special. :)

This just goes to show, the animal love language between human and animal is universal, we are watching this special bond between these wonderful cat parents and this special beautiful cat, from allover the world, and most of us don’t speak a word of Russian, and don’t need to, to be able to enjoy these videos to the fullest, just simply by watching the mutual unconditional love between man and beast. And what a beautiful, loving beast it is. Respect to this couple how they cater to this beautiful animal, who deserves their love. It’s so worth the time and love they put in, when you see how much love Messi gives back. Messi is lucky to have them, and they are lucky to have him. It is amazing to witness how much they learn from each other.

Amazingly playful little toddler Messi. Most important characteristics of Messi is he never kills any of his toys. He plays so blissfully but kalling isn't in his nature. 4 leg animals have only mouth for their all sorts of expression .. n Messi picks his toy friends but never chew his friends ever n he puts his teeth with utmost care .... Any of his friends never get hurt by him , he takes care always. What a kind hearted lovable baby Messi is . I always wonder till long after i watch him on video. Very respected character he is. I loved watching that. He has as many toys as my cats do ! He is so happy playing and I love him using those back legs when hes holding a toy ...just a kitty at heart. Too sweet.
