This is called *scenting* , because the old carpet had Messi's scent on it,and now the new one doesn't. He doesn't feel at home. Messi is Marking his own scent on it. This is his *DEN* It's very interesting to watch animals that are not in the Wild ,still behave this way. I think Messi enjoying himself with the Stick ,was so much fun to watch. He is so Spontaneous and full of intensity. I really love Messi FOREVER. He is truly exceptional.💗💝💯❤️🏆😼

Such a goofy and lovable kitty. He acts so much like my cats when we get someting new that smells differently that what they're used to. They have to roll on or in it, play with it a moment, rub on it so it has their smell and maybe test how it feels under their paws and claws. God bless the both of you and your home.
